Blacxird Project Highlight: Virutcham Hospital
Blacxird is proud to present a parametric design for Virutcham Hospital, a multi-specialty healthcare facility located in Ayapakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Our team leveraged Rhino and Grasshopper to create a distinct, functional elevation for this modern hospital. The aluminum facade features a sophisticated, hierarchical pattern of hexagonal and polygonal shapes, arranged to provide varied density across the surface, offering both visual interest and strategic shading.
The design showcases a bold entrance with an overhang, large windows, and bilingual signage in English and Tamil, emphasizing accessibility and community focus. Ambulances stationed at the entrance reflect the facility's readiness to serve around the clock, enhancing its role as a critical healthcare hub.
This project goes beyond aesthetics—our facade design promotes an inviting and efficient environment for both patients and staff. With sustainability at its core, the facade’s perforated panels provide natural ventilation and energy efficiency, showcasing Blacxird's dedication to innovative, eco-friendly solutions in healthcare architecture.
