The Brief
The idea driving BAPSULE is blunt: we don't pour concrete, we deploy infrastructure. Instead of designing a new structure for every use case, Blacxird set out to standardise the hard part — structure, utilities, smart controls and certification — once, and let the payload vary. One chassis. Many formats. Manufactured in a factory, switched on in 72 hours, earning from Day 1.
The Gen-01 Platform
Every BAPSULE pod is built on the same Gen-01 chassis: a 10 ft × 6 ft × 11 ft MS tubular welded frame (ISO 4948 / BSI EN 10210-1), clad in CGI profiled steel (IS 277:2018 / CE EN 14782) with 2mm acrylic glazing and an ACP-lined, insulated interior. It sits on an axle-and-wheel base — forklift-ready with crane lugs — and arrives utility-ready: an EB 3-phase meter, an IEC 60898-1 MCB distribution board, IP65 LED lighting, and vinyl/SPC flooring. Every weld is inspected to ISO 3834, every coat powder-finished to ISO 12944 (C4).
The Build — 11 Stages, One Floor
The chassis is fabricated on Blacxird's own production line in Ayanambakkam, Chennai, on real workshop equipment — not a render:
- Design & DFM: Every drawing package is DFM-validated before a single sheet is cut.
- Cutting & forming: Laser cutting, tube fabrication, sheet metal work, press-brake forming and rolling.
- Welding: Panasonic MIG, ESAB HandyArc 200i and spot welding — MIG/TIG/SMAW, ISO 3834 certified.
- Finishing: Surface treatment and ISO 12944 (C4) powder coating.
- Assembly, testing & dispatch: Full assembly, a Factory Acceptance Test on every unit, packaging and dispatch — batches of 10 to 500 units, run on 5S and Kaizen lean-cell method.
Every unit carries its own build file — weld logs, heat numbers, as-built drawings — signed off before it ever leaves the shop.
Certified, Not Just Inspected
Quality is engineered in, not checked at the end. Every pod is built and signed off against a fixed set of standards: ISO 3834 welding, ISO 12944 corrosion protection, IEC 60898-1 circuit breakers, IEC 60598-1 luminaires, IS 3043 earthing, ISO 4948 structural steel, IS 277:2018 galvanised roofing, and IEC 62619 battery safety where a pod carries storage.

The Café Pod (CP-10/6/8) was built to solve a specific problem: a DC fast-charge session holds an EV driver on-site for 20–40 minutes with nothing to spend on but the electricity. A ₹1.77L forklift-relocatable café shell dropped onto the GOME_AARGO EV station forecourt converted that dwell time into F&B revenue — zero civil work, a 15–20 day build. On a highway corridor, a 120 kW EV Pod paired with a 50 kWp solar canopy and battery buffer went from forklift-set to earning per-kWh in 72 hours, with no grid extension needed.
Built to Earn, Not Just Deploy
